The Competition Who can count down a deck of cards the fastest? How it Works: Qualifying Round - In order, each competitor is given a deck of cards with one card removed. Using whatever counting method they prefer, the competitor must calculate and verbally call out the correct corresponding value of the card removed i.e. low (2-6), neutral (7-9) or high card (10, A) . Note - NEW RULE for 2012: Deck fanning is not permitted. Competing against the clock, the top 6 fastest times will go through to the final round. Final Round - Same as qualifying round except 3 cards are removed from deck and the competitor must calculate and call the running high/low count i.e. -3,-2,-1,0,+1,+2,+3. The best time wins!
