CAESARS PALACE LAS VEGAS
The 4th annual World Game Protection Conference will be held in the Palace Ballroom at the legendary Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. Organizers have reserved a block of rooms at Caesar's Palace exclusively for conference and expo attendees.
Dramatic Roman-themed architecture, elegant guest rooms, more than 128,000 square feet of gaming space and world-class shopping awaits you at Caesars Palace. Boasting iconic headline entertainers, tempting restaurants from the biggest names in the industry and the hottest nightlife on the Strip, Caesars Palace is the ultimate Vegas destination.
Enjoy the unique shopping experience of the adjacent Forum shops where you will find over 160 boutiques and shops set amongst the simulated streets of ancient Rome.
The WGPC rate of $199 per night is valid for Sunday and Monday, March 1-2, 2009. A very limited number of early arrivals and late departures (up to 3 days prior and/or 3 days following the block) may be requested at the group rate when reserving your room. If you plan on arriving over the weekend, book early to get the extended group rate. Remember Las Vegas hotel room rates can fluctuate daily!
Why Book in the Block?
Reserve your room in the official conference block and help show organizers meet their contracted room commitment. Avoiding attrition penalties for unsold rooms help keep future registration and meeting costs down. Your support is appreciated.
Secure your room by calling the hotel directly on 1-866-227-5944. Be sure to say you're with the World Game Protection Conference. You can also book online at https://www.harrahs.com/CheckGroupAvailability.do?propCode=CLV&groupCode=SCWGP9. The $199 rate is recognized until the cut-off date of January 30, 2009. Reservation requests received after January 30 may be accepted on a "space available" basis at the prevailing hotel rate.
Transportation to/from McCarran Airport
Taxis and shuttles can be found just outside of the baggage claim area. Taxis are readily available (be prepared to wait in line during peak hours) with an approximate minimum fare of $16.50 varying depending on traffic, etc. Several shuttle bus companies service the strip hotels with most charging $6 per person one way.
