and a lecturer at the International
Gaming Institute - UNLV and the University of Massachusetts.
Jeff lectures and conducts seminars on topics ranging from

game management, gaming regulation and casino math. Recently
appointed Divisional Training Manager
of Casino Operations at MGM Grand Las Vegas, Jeff is responsible

Tim Schultz is a Senior Agent in the Enforcement
Division of the Nevada Gaming Control Board,
the gaming regulatory body
responsible for overseeing the largest gaming jurisdiction
in the world. Prior to joining the Nevada
Gaming Control Board
in 1990, Tim was an agent for the United States Internal Revenue
Service. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Certified Fraud
Examiner (CFE), and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist
(CAMS), Senior Agent Schultz has conducted numerous criminal,
financial and regulatory investigations during his 15 years
of service to the board.

Sal Piacente is a native of Brooklyn, NY, and the ultimate student
of the game. Sal's interest in card cheating techniques started
on the streets at a young age. Over the years, Sal parlayed his

Oscar Schuyler was recently elected Chairman of the Oneida Gaming Commission in Wisconsin. Starting his casino career in 1990. Oscar was promoted to Surveillance Director in 1994. Over the years Oscar has been instrumental in the development of a number of casino educational programs for various learning institutions and was one of the four original founding partners of The International Casino Surveillance Network (ICSN). In 2003, Oscar was asked by NIGA Chairman Ernie Stevens Jr, to co-chair the Native American Intelligence Network. He is currently involved with the development and implementation of eagleintel.com, a new innovative digital information sharing network sponsored by the National Indian Gaming Association.

In June, three major competing casino equipment giants, Progressive Gaming International, IGT and Shuffle Master announced plans to jointly develop a player tracking system for table games.
The Intelligent Table System (ITS) is set to integrate three leading product technologies to create the pre-eminent product in table game technology. Tim Richards, Vice President of Global Marketing for Progressive Gaming International, is a member of the management committee overseeing the development of the ITS. Tim has been instrumental in driving the design and architecture of his company's RFID technology table management system, a major component of the ITS.

Ted Whiting
has been employed in the Gaming industry since 1989 and
has held the position of Director of Surveillance at The
Mirage since 2001. Ted created the MGM/Mirage’s Advantage
Player Identification training program and designed Surveillance
Database, a report writing program that includes a card
counting and basic strategy tutorial. He has also written
different computer programs in use in several surveillance
rooms on the Las Vegas Strip including Baccarat Player
Analysis which is used to evaluate high action Baccarat
play. Ted also acts as the System Administrator for the
persons of interest corporate database and is a member
of the MGM Mirage Digital Committee.

Douglas L. Florence
Sr. has over thirty years security related experience, including
