Casinos are expanding their use of facial-recognition technology that experts say has made tremendous strides in identifying unwanted patrons on their gaming floors. While some technology isn’t as effective in an era of facial masking due to COVID-19, look for casinos to adopt its use more and more in the future, according to Willy Allison, managing director and founder of the World Game Protection Conference that runs Feb. 15-17 at the Tropicana Las Vegas.
