Rosario “Rio” D’Costa is Director Operational Integrity and Investigations, Surveillance for Marina Bay Sands (MBS) in Singapore, one of the most profitable casinos in the world. Rio broke into the casino industry in 2007 in India as a surveillance manager. This led him to a stint in Cambodia before he moved to Singapore shortly after the opening of MBS. Scientific research skills honed through formal education and investigative skills attained through job experience has contributed to his expertise in fraud investigations. Rio is passionate about his profession and about learning new things. He holds a bachelors of Geography from the University of Goa, a Masters I from the University of Mumbai and a Masters of Environmental
Conservation from the University of Greenwich in the United Kingdom. Rio is a 2018 graduate of the University of Nevada Reno Executive Development Program (EDP) and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
