Why Would a Man Rob a Casino?
In this exclusive interview, Willy talks to Anthony Carleo (“the Bellagio Bandit”). Tony was a Las Vegas local who grew up knowing first hand the trappings of Las Vegas, gambling and everything that goes with it. One day back in 2010 he decided to try his hand at robbing casinos. Tony robbed the Suncoast Casino for $19K and then the Bellagio Casino for $1.5M. He acted alone. He was caught by the police. He pleaded guilty. Tony served 9 years in prison. So what led him to rob casinos? What made Tony think that he could get away with robbing a Las Vegas casino? What would he do differently if he could go back in time? Is there anything we can learn?
